DELLMECO air-operated diaphragm pumps (AODD) are suitable for a wide range of applications.
They offer high wear resistance and are resistant to aggressive chemicals such as acids, oils, solvents, paints, sludge and even media containing solids, such as wastewater. These pumps can also be used for pumping powders.
All pumps are self-priming and capacity and pressure are easily adjustable.
This pump is a positive displacement pump that moves fluids through the movement of diaphragms driven by compressed air.
The fluid contact parts of the housing are made of PE (polyethylene), conductive PE, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or conductive PTFE.
The suction height reaches up to 8 meters. This depends on the construction material used and the application parameters. All data are based on pumping water at 20 °C.
Suitable for complete emptying of storage tanks, settling tanks or similar containers. The optimum inlet pressure is between 0.2 and 0.3 bar.
RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION GUIDELINES
To reduce stresses on pipes and pump connections, we recommend the use of flexible couplings on both the suction and discharge sides, as well as at the air connection. For optimal performance, DELLMECO recommends installing a pulsation damper on the discharge side of the pump.
CONNECTION TYPES – PLASTIC SERIES
This is the standard connection for all plastic and metal pumps.
All pump models can be equipped with split connections (code S). This allows the pump to be converted from a standard double-acting air-driven diaphragm pump to a version with two separate chambers.
The suction and discharge connections are replaced by a split jacket with a separate suction and discharge connection for both chambers. Both chambers function independently, but are driven by one drive system, making it possible to pump two media flows in a 1:1 ratio.
This option makes it possible to use flange connections according to DIN/PN10.
The suction and discharge manifolds are equipped with stainless steel threaded bushings. The supplied O-rings should be placed in the grooves of the manifolds before assembly to ensure optimum sealing.

CAPACITY OF PLASTIC PUMPS
The viscosity of the medium affects the pumping capacity.
The capacities listed in the pump characteristics are based on water (1 cPs).
When pumping higher viscosity media, the volume must be reduced accordingly.

(example: 50 l/min and 4 bar)
2. Read the estimated energy consumption in volume and pressure ( example: 0.40 Nm³/min at 6 bar).
